As COVID-19 forced us to pause and reflect on our work and mutual career, we thought of two unreleased song cycles that we’d written in 2004. One is about a couple navigating unpredictable times; the other is about New York, a city that deserves to be celebrated. These pieces suddenly felt very resonant to us.

Now these demos have been re-mastered and released on Broadway Records. They feature vocal performances from the late Marin Mazzie as well as Jason Danieley, Sarah Uriarte Berry, and Steven Pasquale, with Stephen and Steve Marzullo on piano.
