A classic American musical comedy, in which a freshman writer on a 1950’s TV show must keep his movie star hero sober long enough to appear on a live broadcast. Based on the beloved feature film of the same name.
MY FAVORITE YEAR, with score by Lynn + Stephen and book by Joseph Dougherty, was directed by Ron Lagomarsino, and choreographed by Thommie Walsh. It was the first original American musical to have its premiere at Lincoln Center.
